Oh, Well!

Oh, Well!

by Joe Carroccio

OK, so May has come and gone, and June is almost finished. Marti is still focusing on William and broshelping and supporting her daughter with the care of her new grandson, William. Again, a full-time job.

We did an interview for the Recipe Records Show on Blogtalk Radio in May, and it’s linked to our website.

Of course, Marti will still be attending The Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago this August and will be speaking at the event! Check it out and try to attend if you’ll be in the Midwest this summer.

Here’s a fun thing: find Marti in the picture below.

OK, so what about me? My “pain full” health issue was addressed, but I am not getting better. Some bad news, actually. In May, I was diagnosed with ALS. There’s a lot to learn about it – so here’s a fact sheet you can peruse.

I couldn’t believe it, and neither could all of my friends and family. In an instant, my life has changed. I decided to get ahead of the curve and enrolled in an assisted living facility. However, I am staying very positive and working on keeping myself strong.

So, we cancelled any more book signings, and any work with the M.I.M. (Musical Instrument Museum). Of course, the search for a movie producer, continues. It is still my priority!

Distractions and interruptions will not stop me from achieving my goals or from implementing our program. Life will challenge you – it’s a guarantee – so this is great advice for everyone!

Love and blessings to all.

  1. Well, Joe, after I said “Oh S***!” a couple of times, I settled down and read your post again. I’m so sorry that life has dealt you this boulder in your road to success, but I’m betting you will find a way around it and continue on your way. That’s the thing about boomers–we always say to people and other things that try to bring us down, “You Don’t Own Me!”
